Battlefield 1942 is so much fun. Me and some mates had a little get together and a small LAN party Friday night, where we played nothing but BF:1942. Hour after hour after hour. This was the first time I had played it, and I loved it. Admittedly the fun of LAN gaming probably helped, but it's still a great game. The screams of people being run over, that delicious squelch, then the incredibly amusing sound of my team mate screaming to his death as he bails out of a plane and forgets his parachute :). Then there was one time when Rob (who the character is based on) needed some help in securing one of the outposts. So in I sped on my jeep, shot over the top of a small hillock, right into the side of Rob's halftrack. We both blew up. How I laughed, no really I did.
Of course this means I haven't had much sleep and am like the living dead. I never got a comic done on Friday (though this won't affect you) so my buffer has dropped to a measly two now, the first time in 5 weeks :/. I'll try and catch up when I have the time, I think next weekend will be a quiet one.
Now I'm bordering into the realms of things you may be less interested in. I've lost weight >_<. Whilst most people may view this as a good thing, to me it's not. You may have guessed or found out somehow that I'm a rower, so I'm supposed to a honed athlete and all that.Last time I was checked, my bodyfat percentage was at 10%, this was 5% too low for a rower, the reason being is that rowing is an endurance sport and we need the energy reserves. Losing weight, cannot be good for me then. I better crack out a tub of lard then.
